PARTY HARD CHINESE STYLE!!

well, today I’m starting my trip to Beijing, China and since I need to be up-to-date and more constant with my blog, I’m going to start blogging about it. who knows, maybe I like it and continue doing it more often.

and this is how it starts…..

Day 1 – on my way to Beijing

PARTY HARD CHINESE STYLE!! photo 1

12:18 pm – I’m still at the airport in Vancouver waiting to get on my next plain, which leaves at 1:55 pm. I hated the 1st plain I was on. It was too small and I was literally over the guy sitting next to me. I couldn’t figure out if he was sleeping during the entire flight or he was just being Asian. He does kind of looks like a Chinese version of Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl), or maybe it’s just my imagination trying to make this trip more pleasurable.

Also, my friend Paty, who is supposed to be here with me, couldn’t make it to the plain and now I’m going to be in China all by myself for a whole week. I hope it still be cool, I’m staying with a friend and Paty’s sister, Ale, and WE are going to bring our WILD side out Chinese style :D.

P.S.: my hair is like a big mess today, it has its own rebel personality and it’s not cool.

Happy Birthday 2 ME!!!!

finally I’m 21. I have been waiting for this moment all my life and it’s finally here. now I can go to VEGAS & celebrate like I have always dream… as soon as I get the cash :) . finally I’m done with being a teenager and I’m starting to become the women I want to be. It’s funny how everything turns out how you want it when you least expected. I’m doing great at school, still working&learning with my mentor everyday, working hard at my intership, and tomorrow I have a job interview for a position a have always want it. life couldn’t be better for me… well, maybe if the day had 36 hrs instead of 24 hr :). it seams like I have a lot in my plate, but I’m LOVING everything about it. I’m loving my life as a Fashion Designer, it has turn out to be everything I have always want it. I just have to take it one thing at a time and be my best on everything I do.
Now, I think it’s just time to celebrate my B-day with my friends&family and enjoy life as much as posible.

Awesomely Untranslatable Words from Around the World.

There are at least 250,000 words in the English language. However, to think that English – or any language – could hold enough expression to convey the entirety of the human experience is as arrogant of an assumption as it is naive.

Here are some examples of instances where other languages have found the right word and English simply falls speechless.

Jayus - Indonesian for:  “A joke so poorly told and so unfunny that one cannot help but laugh

Tartle - Scottish for: The act of hestitating while introducing someone because you’ve forgotten their name.

Prozvonit - Czech for: This word means to call a mobile phone and let it ring once so that the other person will call back, saving the first caller money.

The Safe Bedside Table/Beater

File this one under “When weird stuff happen to good ideas.” The “Safe Bedside Table” goes from bedside table to home intruder protection system in two quick steps, so you can make that would-be burglar sorry they tried to invade your space by just rolling out of bed. If you ever have been woken up in the middle of the night by an intruder, the first thing you look for is a weapon. Now instead of looking for a gun, or bat, now you can arming yourself with your night stand. I think most transforming furniture is a good idea — stuff that performs multiple functions with minimal materials makes me smile — but this might only be useful to the more paranoid light sleepers among us. In that case we are all thankful that its not a gun they are reaching for. . Available at James McAdams
